What is a webring?

A webring is basically a group of websites linking to eachother, all the way around in a circle. Usually these revolved around a theme. Webrings were common back before search engines were good.

Why bring them back?

I love old internet artifacts and hate the modern web, so I thought it would be fun to make one!

Who is this webring for?

• Freaks, faggots, weirdos, and kinksters
• Kink-positive netziens who want to be around other kink-positive netziens
• People who are tired of the sanitization of the web

Why FREAKring?

Every so often I get on a Neocities kick, and when trying to find communities and spaces revolving around them I notice a lot skew young, and if not young, very antikink. I created this webring after catching glimpse of yet another server I tried to make my home in bashing babyfurs, hoping I could make a more comfortable space on the indie web.
